10th day of Practical
Suppose to have a meeting yesterday about how to improve Hedesu. We had a discussion between all the trainees. Unfortunate, yesterday my supervisor, Mr. Amran was busy. Today we compare zendesk.com, freshdesk.com and desk.com. Because their concept quite similar to Hedesu too. So we will research what is their advantages and able to put into Hedesu to improve Hedesu.
6th day of Practical
Blink blink eyes then a week had passed. Second week now, this week I will start to learn about NodeJS, ExpressJS and RailwayJS. Node and Express JS definitely quite complicated for me.. Not really understand about it.. Just learned basic about how to pass a variable, and the Method ( Get , Post ).
5th day of Practical
A senior of ours, previously who done his practical at AIST, came to teach us what he learned.. He explain to us how Hedesu work and how was it’s concept. Other than that, he teach us how to use TortoiseSvn, something like synchronizing software which link ur pc to the other pc. When others commit a certain file, you can update the file via TortoiseSvn. He also taught us how to self-hosting a website by editing host file and also Apache’s vhost file.
Practical..
So many things to learn, but definitely will benefit me.. JQuery, JavaScript, CakePHP and others.. CakePHP, a good programming language that able to help us develop a good functioning website faster than PhP. But because of not used to it yet, I feel it was so hard and have a lots of codes I never see before.. Have to do more research on it.. :)
2nd, 3rd and 4th day of Practical
Research about how CakePhP function and others. Learning CakePhP by referring at CakePhP Book. The function add, edit, view and others were located at Controllers folder, for data validation, they were located at Model and lastly, View, was the place were we put out page view / template. CakePhP are quite easy to use, but these are just basic things, I believe when the Hedesu project wont be so simple as what we are doing now.
